A Lucky Star
James Nathaniel Holland
About this work:
Finding one's own lucky star in life is probably the hardest thing to do.
In this operetta, one young man travels from Indiana to New York to do just that, with a backwoods hitchhiker along for the ride. Set in the 1920's, this is based on the "good ole' fashioned musical" of that period.
Perfect for community theaters and university productions, and can be arranged for a small ensemble.
