Born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Early musical years were spent as lead guitarist for 80’s rock bands Play The Siren and The Siblings.
Going back to school Eliot graduated Magnum Cum Laude with a degree in composition from the University of North Texas. There he studied with composers Larry Austin, Martin Mailmen and Joseph Klein. His works have been performed in the United States and South America, by the University of North Texas Orchestra, and by numerous local performers
He has been the guest composer for the San Antonio Dance Umbrella’s Dance Partners Project. This summer saw the premier of "Acquiescence”. A collaboration with the modern dance company SpareWorks. Recently finished works; “Aesop’s Fable”, a one act musical tale, and “Lament for Celesta and Strings", are pending performances.
