John graduated from RPI with a concentration in computer music. Originally focusing on electronic processing, his work now tends more toward psychoacoustically informed minimalism. The electronic elements are still present -- the music is still usually electroacoustic -- but more of the work comes in preparing the acoustic subjects rather than the specifics of the processing.
John is an audio engineer.
He also creates generative audio and visual pieces, as well as pieces with audio/visual interaction.
He is open to collaboration (currently he is working with a visual artist for an upcoming exhibition). Soundtrack work is preferred.
He also happens to be a web designer/developer: the main programmer for the new amc.net.
