Patrick Metzger is a senior at Sarah Lawrence College. He was born in Macon, Georgia, and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He loves the woods, and the road. His work has been performed on the Sarah Lawrence campus by the Cygnus Ensemble, Molly Stern (SLC '10), and Will McEvoy (SLC '06). His music has been featured in off-off-Broadway shows ("Universal Robots" at Manhattan Theatre Source; "Roar of the Crowd", Estrogenius Festival Week 1, at Manhattan Theatre Source), as well as other venues in New York City (arrangements of songs from David Lang's opera "Modern Painters", performed by the Cygnus Ensemble in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall). He has written music for two animated student films by Noemi Jimenez (SLC '09), an undergraduate dance piece by Larissa Sheldon (SLC '10), a graduate dance piece by Janet Werther, and many unperformed pieces in pop, folk, industrial, and concert music styles.
