About this work:
Based on the words of three generations of the Jake family: Lucille, Vivienne, and Verdel, who grew up on the Kaibab Paiute Reservation on the Utah/Arizona border near Kanab, Utah. In February, 1991, after much controversy, their tribe rejected an offer to build a toxic waste incinerator on their ancestral land.
