About this work:
Fanfare for Santa Barbara Harbor was composed in June 2005 and is dedicated to the composer's nephew, Lewis Scott Bartholomew. It was premiered by the Canberra City Band in Temora, Australia, on November 27, 2005. The Truman State University Brass Choir, under the direction of Dr. Jay Bulen, presented the North American premiere at Ophelia Parrish Performance Hall, Kirksville, Missouri, on December 1, 2005.
