Variations from Der Fluyten Lust-hof of Jakob Van Eyck

About this work:
For solo mandolin, each set of variations is dedicated to the mandolinists of Het CONSORT of The Netherlands and is based on themes from Jakob Van Eyck’s Der Fluyten Lust-hof. Themes included are “Silvester Inde Morgenstont,” “Janneman en Alemoer,” “Bockxvoetje,” “Ho Ho op Myn Brack en Winden,” “Doen Daphne d’Over Schoone Maeght,” “Ach Treurt Mijn Bedroefde,” “Laura,” and “Wat Zal Men op den Avond Doen.” The “Daphne” variations were premiered by Fedrinand Binnendijk on 31 March 2006 at Gehoorzaal, De Muzerie, Zwolle, Netherlands.
