About this work:
Written for friends, this septet explores the range of emotions of a group of people as they each discover Foog's Gate in their own way. Coming from a proud Scottish tradition, it was important for me to approach the piece with a respectful attitude. Character shifts are present throughout, each with unique and different sensabilities.
