About this work:
This poor little piece needs a good home. It was going to go on Greg Banaszak's latest album--Romances for Saxophone and Orchestra, but I ended up doing something else for that. The sax part is on par with the Dubois or Creston, challenging but approachable. I actually played the solo part for the premiere, but it was just with piano accompanyment. Outside the inital recording, this has never been performed with full string compliment.
