About this work:
In Darkness... for piano and small orchestra, was written in 2004 for Michael Wittenburg and the Lee University Chamber Orchestra, which premiered the work with Perry Mears, piano and the composer conducting. Based on the song "In Darkness Let Me Dwell" by John Dowland, "In Darkness..." is a free gloss on each of the sections of the song.
