About this work:
American Composers Alliance (www.composers.com). Commissioned by Maverick Concerts, Woodstock, NY for the viol quartet Parthenia, which premiered the work on the Maverick concert series. A tongue-in-cheek piece which travels from Renaissance counterpoint incorporating imitations, inversions, reference to beer commercials and Wagner, to simulated on-stage drinking and the wild style of Charlie Parker.
