About this work:
American Composers Alliance (www.composers.com); written for the Aeolian Chamber Players and premiered at their Bowdoin Music Festival; recorded by the Da Capo Chamber Players on CRI CD 759. In three movements, the work incorporates an electronic part realized on Buchla equipment at the NYU School of the Arts and is a primarily gentle exploration of sound color, texture, and gesture in the interaction of live instruments and electronics. (The original tape part has been transferred to CD.)
