Arcs is a set of five pieces for violin and piano: 1. Incandescence, 2. Cyclic Changes, 3. Shadow Dance, 4. Scintilla, and 5. Line. Composed for violinist Catherine Tait in 1986, she recorded the work with pianist Barry Snyder for Albany Records.
