About this work:
Written for Voice, strings and two trumpets. A song cycle, words and music conceived on Feb.14th and Feb.15th (the day of the World Wide Protests against the invasion of Iraq). These songs tell a story from a father's standpoint,yet at the same time the singer is called upon the portray not only the father, but, the son and his commanding officer, a colonel. In the end the father realizes his tragic error and gives his final lament as he waits to unite with his son. (only midi recording is available at this time)
