The original string quartet version has been recorded by the Kronos Quartet on Nonesuch, by the Lydian String Quartet on MCA Classica, and by the Hawthorne String Quartet and Oregon String Quartet on Koch International Classics. "Morango ... almost a tango" has been used by choreographers like Jiri Kylian for the Netherlands Dance Theater, by Danny Rosseel for the Royal ballet of Flanders, by Pilobolus, Niocolo Fonte for the Pacific Northwest ballet and the Australian ballet, etc.
