About this work:
Composed to the memory of my cousin, the painter Catherine Ecksersley. It is the counterpart to In memoriam for string orchestra and alto soloist that I wrote in honor of her sister Caecilia Ostendarp. It may be performed either as a chamber work for 2 violins, viola, cello and double bass or as a piece for string orchestra.
