About this work:
Three spirited pieces for clarinet duet: 1) Monkey See, a lyric, leisurely canonic song; 2) Mirror, Mirror, a dramatic and quixotic piece with canonic inversions; and 3) The Chase, an exhilirating close canon. Sock Monkeys is a revised and rewritten version of "Miniatures" written for Meyer Kupferman. Sock Monkeys also exists in a version for 2 flutes.
