About this work:
Glockenspiel solos are not very common, though the instrument can create beautiful shimmering textures and delicate melodies. The instrument is more often associated with/type-casted into the idomatic style of the solo from the "Magic Flute". I hope that I have displayed a wider range of what is possible on this instrument.
