About this work: The theme, variously known as “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” and “Ah! Vous dirai-je, Maman,” is a childhood favorite that received wonderful treatment from Mozart’s hand. The current set of variations is my own contribution to this well-known melody, designed for solo violin. The work is dedicated to violinist Ljubomir Velickovic.
