Three songs for soprano and keyboard, in medieval Catalan. Based on a 13th century song from the mystery play of Elche (Spain), on the death and Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Text in medieval Catalan and translation into English:

Trista de mi, (my sadness,)
Yo que fare (And yet I can do nothing.)
Lo meu car Fil, (O my dear son,)
