About this work:
This was a piece originally written as part of my composition class. It was originally scored for sax quartet (SATB) but has been arranged for two Bb clarinets and two bassoons. The piece contains three movements: the first is an open-structured variation that alternates with a chorale section. The middle movement is a fugue that goes where it needs to, and the final movement is a further development of the first movement's thematic material, in the current version.
