Mirrored Birds is a concerto written as an homage to flautist and composer Louis Moyse on the occasion of a special concert of the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra Society. It was commissioned by the Society for an all-French concert. Mirrored Birds is the third of the 'birds' series that began with LowBirds for chamber ensemble (2000) and continued with HighBirds (Prime) in Memoriam Iannis Xenakis for two guitars and electronics (2001).
