About this work: Complex isorhythmic fanfare created for the 25th anniversary of the Friends of Music at Guilford (Vermont), which also hosts the Yellow Barn Festival. There's a series of tragicomic stories about the premiere of Yçuré; this piece is difficult and deserves a really fine performance.
