About this work: Grand Mirliton -- a mirliton is a kazoo, by the way -- was written for Claudia Friedlander and Andrea Warnke, respectively bass clarinet and horn players. Shortly after this was written, they headed to different geographies, and this still awaits its premiere (for C bass clarinet, by the way).
