About this work: The Bartholdy Ensemble is a Vermont trio that asked for a piece appropriate to their approach -- warm and broad and romantic. This piece was created for them, but not until after a five-year struggle to come up with the right idea for it!
A version also exists for violin, tenor sax and piano.
