Avant Garde Suite in 3 Movements

Franklin Morris

About this work:
Movement 1. Movement 2. Movement 3. This work is composed entirely of analog electronic sounds. It was produced in at a time when elctronic music was eager to imitate the aethetic of the day: total serialism of pitch, rhythm, dynamics, etc. There is no easy way to characterize an individual movement. All of them are atonal, (largely), dissonant, without a continuing beat, and cover a very large range of pitch, tempo, dynamics, timbre, and texture. They are also not programmatic in any intended way.
