About this work: This piece was commissioned in 1985 for the 25th anniversary of Ed and Jane Pincus, where it was premiered by an unsuspecting Jane. Every five years I have added a new set of five variations. This is the latest version of this trio (new variations in 2000) for good amateurs, and has 40 variations.
