About this work: VoxN is one of my most difficult pieces, both long and instrumentally intimidating. It's been called unplayable. The music was written for the Vermont Contemporary Music Ensemble, and intended to be performed with a reading of the short story "The Voice in the Night" by William Hodgson. A revised version is in composition (2002). Please note that the parts are prepared on 11x17 format for easy "sliding", as page turns can music density can be very complex.
