About this work: Written for my wife Stevie as a wedding gift, Gardens is the most extensive of the set of 14 orchestral songs, Cold Stones, an cycle still unfinished. This piece is lovely, lyrical, and combines my interest in pulsing rhythm and bittersweet melody.
