About this work: The full title is Angels (passing through on their way to the end of time) Avenging (the music of Olivier Messiaen and others of similar leanings) for Quartet of untuned or detuned instruments, all made before 1940, specifically: Two very beat upright pianos; One weak and reasonablhy silly electric organ; One single-string (G) violin, plus right-handed (only) violinist, or one with left hand tied behind the back.
