About this work: First Permutrance was in 1976 in New Jersey. Others have been in Vermont and the Netherlands. The Permutrance uses found materials and found performers; instant structures are created. Permutrance VI, for example, was composed on paper napkins at dinner before the performance. A Permutrance lasts approximately 5-7 minutes.
