Choral Reflection on Amazing Grace

Roger Ames

About this work:
One of the most performed arrangements of AMAZING GRACE in recent years, this arrangement is dedicated to the children of the victims of 9/11. It's noted for its inclusion of an originally composed KYRIE that works contrapuntally with the tunes and harmonies of this arrangement. It is medium difficulty, available from GIA music.com and is appropriate for collegiate, professional, high quality high school and church choirs. There are versions available for full orchestral accompaniment, piano only (octavo), string orchestra and piano. A wind ensemble arrangement is also available through Kjos music, by Robert Rumbelow. A recording is available on the CD "Inverness," by Anam Cara, James Jordon, conductor
