About this work:
Movement 1 - Divertimento Has easy listening beat in first section,; beat changes somewhat for succeeding sections, but returns to original at end. Movement 2 - Agitato First section has rapid repeated note rhythmic beat changing timbre a great deal; Middle section introduces legato strings; final section brings back rapid beat and increases energy to sudden end. Movement 3 - Lento Processional , chordal beat at beginning and thruout piece. There is a generally melancholy mood. Movement 4 - Begins with light medium fast beat, but new sections follow increasing this several times thruout, returning to original beat at end.
