About this work:
Movement 1 - Decorated Fanfare. The fanfare appears at the beginning and is followed by a softer section with a steady beat; these two types of texture are then developed thruout to a climactic ending. Movement 2 - Star Magic. This poetic slow movement presents an ever changing series pf different timbres and textures, enind softly. Movement 3 - This work begins as a gentle piece of chamber music, then adds brass and voices to become heavy and grandiose. After several returns to the opening material, the heavy texture comes back with a triumphant finish.
