About this work:
Movement 1 - Dance Quixotic. A moderately fast dance with a great many unpredictable timbral and other changes within the main structure. No climazes of energy, however. Movement 2 - Barren Landscape. A slow movement with a great many timbral changes, and even some cincreased activity as the title may suggest. Ends as at beginning; Movement 3 - Spasmodic Scherzo - Different from ordinary scherzo in unpredictability of content and tempo change within work. A few moments of high energy and loud end.
