Movement 1 - Arpeggimania. Named for featured use of loud arpeggiated materials thruout. Movement 2 - Song from a Foreign Land. Song like material in medium tempo with mostly a slow regular beat, that may impress the listener with being from a different culture than his own. Movement 3 - Overheard Sounds. Against a slow sustained background, variious intrusive sounds occur in different sections as tho they had been heard from another source.
