About this work:
Three movements for Saxophone Quartet in Celebration of John Carisi. Inspired by my knowledge and love for the music of John Carisi, and by my many informal street corner encounters with him which lead to many long and inspiring discussions about music and life. Requires no improvisation but requires rhythms to be played with a genuine jazz feel.
