About this work:
Movement 1 - White Whimsies. A series of contrasting sections for chamber orchestrra ending where it began, and rising to no great heights. Movement 2 - Red Rage. An aggressive stomping first sectiion returning in rondo style thruout and ending with a climactic coda. Movement 3 - Violet Visions. A movement of quite opposite character. Generally slow tempo, impressionistic content, use of voices, a few active interjections, and a quiet ending.
