About this work:
Movement 1 - Butterflies in a Cloud Forest. A symphonic tone poem for instrumental and electronic sounds portraying what the title suggests. There are several contrasting sections retutning roughly to material of the opening section. Movement 2 - Molto agitato. A rhythmically very active work in several contrasting sections for instrumenatl and electronic sounds, ending with a climax. Movement 3 - A Distant Memory. A romantic, lyric slow movement using, near the end, material similar to that of the first movement.
