Violinist Maria Bachmann and pianist Jon Klibanoff premiered Philip Glass' three-movement work "Sonata for Violin and Piano" February 28, 2009 at Whitaker Center in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. The piece was commissioned by retired architect Martin Murray to commemorate the 70th birthday of his wife, Lucy Miller Murray.
