An elegy in memory of cellist Shashi Melwani. An expressive solo over a repeating accompaniment pattern. Premiered at the Sound in the Land Festival at Conrad Grebel College in Waterloo, Ontario, in 2004 by violinist Mark Hartman and the composer.
