About this work:
Movement 1 - Allegro. A fanfare like motive is developed thruout along with sax solo melodic lines to a sudden abrupt ending. Movement 2 - Andante Espressivo. Slow melodic lines are preseented over a marcato,. melancholy background. Movement 3 - Vivace. Pixie like melodies in various instruments are preseented over a vivace repeated note pattern. Movement 4 - Marche Funebre. Meloodies are presented over the marche funebre background, which becomes heaver thruout until it reaches a triumphant ending.
