The 54th Street Rag (for Piano Four-Hands and Orchestra)

Douglas Townsend

About this work:
This is an arrangement of my 54th Street Rag for piano solo and concert band. (See notes under that title.) It can be performed alone, or as part of my recent suite TWO RAGS AND AN INTERLUDE, which also includes my Ridgefield Rag for piano four-hands and orchestra, and an intermezzo (total 15 minutes). Very festive, tuneful and accessible to audiences of all types. No unusual difficulties.
