This piece is constructed out of a series of interlocking palindromes. Each of these palindromes are cut in half at the turning point, and the retrograde or mirror halves appear later in the piece. For example, the mirror of the 'A' section appears in section 'G', and the mirror of the 'B' section appears in section 'H', and so on.
