"Nenana" for brass quintet was commissioned by the Ninth International Congress on Women in Music, and supported by the Alaska State Council on the Arts, Artist Trust and the King County Arts Commission. It was premiered by Alaska Brass at the Ninth International Congress on Women in Music, Fairbanks, Alaska, 1993.
