Run is a seven-and-a-half minute-sprint-as-an-ensemble through simple three-note motives and scalar passages involving both Bartokily chromatic languages and modal diatonicism in asymmetrical meters.
Run was commissioned by the Capitol Quartet for their 2009 - 2010 season.
