A serious, sustained slow movement presumably the musical equivalent to looking for final answer to the problems of mankind, and presumably also concluding that there are none. Movement 2 - Variety Dance. A light instrumental dance movement, later including voices. Movement 3 - Postlude. A serious, dramatic sounding slow movement featuring the pipe organ prominently.
