About this work:
C.S. Chaconne, for flute quartet, is dedicated to Samuel Coles. This quartet can be played separately or as part of a suite of C.S. Chaconne, Meditation and Tango. C.S. Chaconne begins with a rhapsodic slow introduction featuring the first flute which is immediately followed by the rapid tempo Chaconne. There are solo features for the first flute and alto flute and a duet for the second and third flutes as well as entire ensemble passages.
