About this work:
My partner, Jeni Hankins, put together a slide show montage of our "Way Out West" tour in 2010 and asked me to compose some music. I tried improvising to the images but that didn't seem to work. So I went to my Zoom recording archives of recent and found a banjo melody I thought might work. This recording features a toy piano we found in Galax. VA while attending the Galax Fiddler's Convention. All of the sounds are acoustic except for the trombone which is sampled by EastWestQuantumLeap EWQL.
