About this work:
Movement 1 - Andante (Variations). What varies is mostly the series of slow chords that begin the piece, and the material around them. Internal climaxes are reached, but the ending is quiet. Movement 2 - Deciso. Loud, blustery at beginning and thruout with climactic ending. Movement 3 - Andante. Slow mix of orechestral and vocal sounds with quiet ending. Movement 4 - Scherzo. Playful, as title suggests, with loud ending.
